One note however, I am not sure how I could include a book from 2024 when my book was published in 2023. It is impossible to fit every author who has contributed to a subject into a manuscript. My initial manuscript was 600 pages long. I had to pare down in 300 pages. I was also asked by my publisher to remove the historiography in the introduction, albeit I did not include Paul Angelo in that original discussion. I have sprinkled some historiography into the book giving a nod to authors who most influenced my thinking on the subject. I also have highly detailed notes (well beyond most authors who claim to be historians, journalists, and experts but fail to support up their claims) and a lengthy bibliography for anyone who is interested.
I still have a few more reviews (from last year) to post. I’ll get them up soon. I am working on other things, so I do not always get things up promptly.

I am keeping this site mostly to the issue of narcotics, though my interest is turning more towards the marriage of US foreign policy, the corporate state system, and the economic/political lies that have justified war and the shredding of the US Constitution in the 20th century. My interests starts with the end of the federal system in 1865 and will continue to the death of JFK and the gradual escalation into Vietnam. The second half of the twentieth century is built on mythological lies that fundamentally distorted America and what it has become.
I am, however, working on a follow up to my piece on El Mayo’s apprehension. It will be interesting to see if Vicente testifies against his own father. It is likely Vicente’s cooperation with US authorities and his testimony against El Chapo (see Narcostates) initiated the internecine war within the Sinaloa cartel. Alas, the Sinaloa conflict is the result of the Kingpin strategy which has never worked and has always resulted in new problems, kingpins, and cartels.
